ABOUT LHT

Science, artistry and considered care.

Hair restoration should feel personal — because it is.

London Hair Trust was built around the idea that good restoration is not simply about choosing a technique. It is about assessment, planning, proportion, donor management, informed decision-making and careful execution.

Our approach

No gimmicks. Just science-backed solutions for every type of hair loss.

Every recommendation is guided by clinical assessment, individual suitability and the available evidence.

We combine clinical judgement, technical experience and aesthetic planning to create treatment that feels considered from the first consultation onward. The aim is not simply to perform a transplant, but to understand what will suit you, explain the reasoning clearly and carry that plan through with consistency at every stage.

Our standard

Hair restoration at London Hair Trust is built around nearly a decade of dedicated, hands-on hair-transplant experience, supported by doctors whose wider clinical backgrounds span General Practice, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Breast Surgery and aesthetic medicine. Within the clinical team are postgraduate surgical qualifications and dedicated fellowship training in hair transplantation, including specialist training focused on long-hair transplantation.

Across the team, hair-restoration experience includes FUE, FUT, DHI/Choi, long-hair and no-shave techniques, Afro-textured hair, male and female transplantation, eyebrow and beard restoration, body-hair transplantation and PRP. That experience is applied alongside careful donor management, graft handling, density planning, consent, governance and structured aftercare.

Density & donor stewardship

Natural-looking restoration is not about graft numbers alone. Density, distribution, direction and hairline design are planned alongside responsible donor management and long-term needs.

Specialist doctors for different types of hair restoration

Our FUE and FUT cases are led by doctors with specific experience in donor harvesting and surgical hair restoration. DHI/Choi and long-hair procedures are matched with doctors experienced in advanced implantation and unshaven techniques. Female hair-restoration cases are matched with doctors experienced in female-pattern hair loss, hairline design and the different surgical approaches that may be used in women. Beard, eyebrow and body-hair restoration are handled by doctors with experience in non-scalp transplantation, while Afro-textured hair cases are matched with doctors familiar with the unique follicular geometry and extraction demands of tightly curled hair.

For combination procedures, the treatment plan brings together the relevant harvesting and implantation expertise to use more than one technique within the same restoration.

BEYOND THE STANDARD

Every graft deserves a considered approach.

Our focus is not simply how many grafts can be moved, but how carefully the donor is managed, how little unnecessary handling each graft receives and how deliberately the final density is planned.

01

Advanced graft preservation

We don’t rely solely on standard saline for graft preservation. Specialist preservation solutions form part of our graft-care approach, which continues after implantation with dedicated recipient-area care during the vulnerable early period.

Our clinical environment brings together advanced hair-restoration technology, specialist equipment and carefully selected graft-care systems, with each element chosen to support precision, graft handling, preservation and storage, and to help protect graft viability throughout treatment.

02

Less unnecessary handling

Our workflow is deliberately coordinated to minimise unnecessary graft handling and reduce avoidable time between extraction and implantation, while keeping the exact surgical sequence and protocol internal.

03

PRP before, during and beyond transplantation

PRP is incorporated into our wider graft-care pathway rather than treated simply as an optional add-on at the end. Where clinically appropriate, that pathway can begin before the procedure itself.

04

High density. Careful donor management.

High-density and high-volume restoration are planned in the context of donor capacity, hair characteristics and long-term needs. The aim is meaningful coverage and density without treating the donor area as an unlimited resource.

05

Experienced. Vetted. Passionate.

Our clinical professionals are selected for hair-restoration experience, competence and attention to detail — but also for genuine passion for the craft and the quality of the work they produce.

06

Doctor-led. Individually planned.

There is no standard LHT treatment package. Technique — including combination transplantation where appropriate — follows the individual treatment plan, donor area, hair characteristics, goals and long-term needs.

Every graft matters. Handled less. Preserved carefully. Placed with purpose. Designed for density.
CARE BEYOND THE OPERATING CHAIR

Care does not end when the procedure is complete. Our commitment combines thoughtful preparation, careful treatment and continued attention to each patient’s longer-term restoration goals.

Our dedicated Patient Journey page explains the 18-month continued-care pathway, including postoperative check-ins, recovery and progress reviews, clinically appropriate PRP and personalised hair-maintenance support. The precise treatment and medication inclusions are confirmed in each patient’s written plan.
